In an organization, morale is based on three key attributes. The first is your company culture, which is comprised of your beliefs, values and goals. These qualities define the basis for morale. If your team shares your company’s core beliefs then they have the foundation for being happy and having a positive energy that affects the entire team.

When you view efficiency as an increase in your capacity then you’ll begin to notice ways to improve your ability to scale operations as revenue grows. Who doesn’t want the ability to double revenue while keeping costs the same? Who doesn’t want to process two,five, ten or even 100 times the number of sales orders for less than what you spend today processing one sales order?

Outsourcing works the best when you have done your own preparation to provide the outsourcer with training materials, management oversight (via daily conversations, reporting and status monitoring, etc) and empowerment to perform the function.
How can you empower your team to do their best work? I have a few simple rules to ensure I can actually extend power to my team.
Push through your team’s fear by helping them arrive at your conclusions by thinking through your analysis (you did analyze your new idea,right?). Give your team time to digest your concepts and form a valid opinion,not just a first reaction that may be spiked with fear and resistance to change.
