Declaration Of Independence From Paper Forms

When, in the course of doing our jobs and running our personal lives, it becomes necessary to fill out paper forms, a decent respect for our time, effort and privacy requires that we declare the causes that impel us to separate ourselves from completing paper forms by hand and ink.

The Day Will Come When Paper Goes Away!

Did you know that way back in the 70’s Xerox was developing electronic paper? The idea was to create a paper-like material to electronically display information. Sounds a lot like a Kindle, right? Happy 50th Birthday Copiers… Now Go Retire!

Did you know that the photocopier, the original Xerox, turns 50 years old this year? Neither did I (maybe because it’s older than me). Reading a recent CNN article reminded me of the smell of mimeograph copies we received in elementary school…

The Truth About The Paperless Office

There is a way to go paperless with the last 20% of your process: assess your cost of paper. Paper is costing you printing, handling, shipping, errors, storage and the cost of labor. If you were to automate those pieces of paper then you’ll convert a fixed cost of doing business (i.e. paperwork) into a variable cost that can be mostly eliminated.
