Third, by the time the person does stop talking and gives you a moment to speak, whatever few words you do say have so much more weight than theirs. In fact, the more concise, clear and focused you can be in what you say, the more your words will be heard.

Failure can only happen when you actually take actions and do something. The guy with the most home-runs probably has the most strike-outs because he got up to bat more times and ultimately failed more times.
Push through your team’s fear by helping them arrive at your conclusions by thinking through your analysis (you did analyze your new idea,right?). Give your team time to digest your concepts and form a valid opinion,not just a first reaction that may be spiked with fear and resistance to change.
We do the things we like and don’t do the things we dislike. Even better, we excel at the things we are passionate about and fail at the things we despise. By making your fear a passion you will be giving yourself the motivation to become really good at it.
